Howto pair a Nokia N70 with your TomTom One

It looks like the N70 is still far too new for many bluetooth devices to support natively yet, the TomTom One included. Still it’s possible to use it with your TomTom to get all the TomTom Plus services.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the steps required.

  • Search for phone.
  • Enter Pin
  • ‘Do you want to setup your wireless internet connection now?’ - Yes
  • Select Other
  • Setup connection manually
  • Enter access point name ‘internet’
  • no user name
  • no password
  • Select Automatic for DHCP ad DNS
  • Select default of *99# for dial.
  • no login script
  • Wait for test of settings.
  • Send ‘technical details’ - (I keep intending to check what these actually are one day). - I Agree
  • Wait for ’sending to server’ stuff.
  • Set automatic pairing on on your phone.
  • Continue on the TTO
  • Congratulations - Continue
  • Turn on TomTom Traffic and test.

You’re done!

  1. TTN Man Says:

hi, I have a TTN 910 and trying to get it to connect to my motorola Q. I will see I can make a DUN connection but won’t do it. I change the Q so it can do DUN (http://www.hellomotoq.com/forums/front-page-content/4-motorola-q-dial-up-networking-dun-pc-mac-via-bluetooth.html). Just have to do the last bid. Hoping you have any idea what I could try. Let me know via email.
